In 2010, Omega_Red, Spider_J, and two friends went back to Pleasure Beach one last time before it was torn down. This time, we went during the daytime, and we ventured into most of the houses for a final look.

Pleasure Beach was a small coastal town in Connecticut. When the only bridge into town was burned down by arsonists in the late 90s, the whole community was forced by the State Government to up and leave. Since the only way left in and out of town was a 2-mile trek along the beach, most everyone had to leave all their belongings behind in their borded-up houses. While the rumored security cameras kept us out of most of the houses, we couldn't resist going inside to get a closer look.

The Island Mill was a quick exploration we conducted mostly out of boredom. It was an old paper mill on a small island that mostly burned down decades ago.

In May 2009, The League teamed up with the Rochester 2600 group to explore the abandoned subway lying underneath the city. The grafitti was simply amazing, and it remains one of my favorite explorations we've ever done.

Our exploration of the Split Rock Quarry will always been a subject of debate within the League. In the early 1900s, 50 men lost their lives here in an explosion, so we decided to take along some Ghost Hunting equipment. Check out the trailer at our video page.

Doc and Moocher went to Connecticut to revisit the Knight Hospital in 2009. While we almost got arrested and had to return during the daytime, it was still an amazing trip.

The old Train Factory in Watertown, NY was the first UrbEx trip by The League in early 2009. We're still amazed by how easy it was to enter.

The Knight Hospital, located at the Mansfield Training School in UConn, is one of our favorite places to explore. It's a mental hospital that was abandoned in 1990, and is supposedly haunted by the mistreated patients. Here are our pictures from 2005, before the League was even formed.
